Karster - "I posit that we are not killers by nature. We kill others because they threaten us. Like the beasts who roam the lands around us. But suppose we didn't feel the need to protect ourselves from the beasts? Furthermore, suppose that in killing the beasts to make ourselves safe, we were in fact harming the ecosystem, thus putting ourselves and future generations at risk!
Pretty heavy, don't you think?
Now suppose there was a middle ground. Suppose we could tame the beasts so that we might live in harmony... say, for example, a Purple Cliff Spider.
