It's similar to the other pterosaur pet, Orange Pterosaur Hatchling, but this Pterosaur version is purple.

Pterosaur Hatchling can be obtained by looting flying Demon mobs in the world. Since this pet is not bound when looted, it may appear in the Auction House.
It also appears in the Wheel of Fortune (available to players level 55+), but becomes bound to the player if obtained there.
